Julian Marquez (born September 15, 1991) is a professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Middleweight division. As of December of 2017 he holds a professional record of 7 wins and only one loss.

Mixed martial arts career[edit | edit source]

Early Career[edit | edit source]

Julian Marquez began his professional mixed martial arts career in may of 2014, defeating his opponent Charles Rooks by TKO in just 53 seconds. More than one year later he compiled his second career win. On the 26th February of 2016 Marquez suffered his first loss at Bellator 150.[1] After three rounds his opponent Chris Harris was given the unanimous decision win. Julian Marquez went on to win his next three fights in a row including a win over UFC veteran Matt Hamill before debuting in the UFC.

UFC[edit | edit source]

Julian Marquez participated in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 4 on the 1st August 2017 against Phil Hawes. He won the fight by Knockout after landing a head kick in the second round.

On December 16th, Marquez took on Darren Stewart at UFC on Fox 26. He won the Fight by Submission via guillotine choke in the second round.[2]
