Julius Gunn[edit]

Julius Elmo Gunn (born September 6, 1989) is an American Motivational Speaker, Award Winning Poet, Musician, Philanthropist.[1], Author, and Entrepreneur. He is the chief executive officer, and founder of The Emperors Republic and all of its subsidiaries. Julius is one of the longest lasting youth leaders in a nationally awarded non-profit youth advocacy program titled Magellan Youth Leaders Inspiring Future Empowerment (also known as MY LIFE). He is actively involved in a multitude of charitable endeavors including but not limited to:  The Faithful City[2], CRUSH Leadership Group[3], and SHINE Mentorship Program[4].

Julius was born in Ohio, of the US, the youngest of 4 children, of April Brown (born 1963, a former housemaid) each with fathers to whom are unknown. Mr. Gunn has 3 older brothers. His siblings are Joseph Gunn (1979-1995), Rickie Lee Gunn II (born 1985), Marcus Lamont Gunn (born 1987). His Grandfather Elmo James Brown served in the US Military whilst his Grandmother Louise Brown remained a housewife.

Early Life[edit]

At an early age, Julius entered the foster care system. At the age of 6, he came in contact with a women by the name of Constance Sellers who would eventually take him in. She and her husband (Mark Neds) would eventually accept Julius, Rickie and Marcus as their own children. During this time they discovered the gang-related shooting of Joseph, their eldest brother. Shortly after Constance noticed that Julius exhibited signs of behavior health issues and placed him under treatment. His foster parents were completely supportive and hands on in providing Julius with treatment and education about his illness.

Education[edit]

Julius was Educated at several schools from a young age. Graduating from Metropolitan Arts Institute he secured a few scholarships that he chose not to pursue. His brief stints of community college were found within the Maricopa Community College System. Even though Julius had poor academic attendance; on his last day at school, his principal, Matthew T. Baker[5], told him he would be surprised if Julius didn’t accomplish his goals, as he is the most peaceful and ambitious person he knows.

Julius was never married and met his former fiancee while he was in 6th grade. Their relationship lasted 8 years. They had one baby boy that was given up for adoption when their relationship ended. He later had a baby girl with another woman. These individuals will remain unnamed to preserve their privacy.

Career[edit]

Julius expressed his desire to become an entrepreneur at a young age. At the age of sixteen, his first business venture was a record label called Julius Michaels Productions named after he and his high school friend. This record label would evolve into the production department of his later business venture called The Emperor's Republic. The name would be changed to JGCorp. That same year he started Stem Cell Productions.

In 2015 he opened a vending machine service provider called Vend With Us[6] that quickly grew to service over 70 machines across 5 of the top grossing cities in Arizona. He also created a free open source online application that allowed aspiring artist to create, edit and sell graphics, literature, and music in the same space and released it as its own company called ERMusiclab.  

2016 was an even better year for Mr. Gunn as he created many more online businesses. He published the first book of a training series designed to teach students, in remedial language, how to become wealthy and increase their income titled Making Money Multiply (also referred to as MMX[7]). Mr. Gunn has been noted in a multitude of news mediums for his charitable works and expressions of art. He was nominated several times to speak on TED Talks, but has declined refusing to state why. Some of the notable publication companies that he has been featured on are Magellan's News articles, Power 98.3, Arizona Republic Newspaper, The New Times Magazine and AZ3TV[8]
