July 15th (short film)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

July 15th is the third short film by independent filmmaker Kristian Comer of Rockland County, New York[1] It follows widower Stanley Stevenson on his way to celebrate the anniversary of the day he met his deceased wife Clara.[2][3][4]

Plot[edit]

Each year Stanley goes back to the same spot, a bench in Washington Square Park, and eats the same sandwich, hot roast beef, he had that day. When he reaches the bench he finds a woman crying and decides to cheer her up. Between a hilarious banter of shared interests of food and love of New York, they develop a strong bond. July 15th deals with the theme of true love and how it is affected by a death. It’s a silent film paying homage to love films that came before it and was completely shot in NYC.[5][6][4][7][8][9]
