Justus Donaldson (Born October 28, 1999) is a NCAA Division I Decathlete for the University of Evansville Purple Aces.

Early Life[edit]

Justus Donaldson was born in Mattoon, Illinois on October 28, 1999. He was the middle child of three sons, Jedidiah Donaldson and Josiah Donaldson.

High School Career[edit]

Justus Donaldson attended Mattoon High School in Mattoon, Illinois. He highlighted his athletic career by playing football, basketball, track and field, and cross country. He lettered ten times as a varsity player, lettering once in cross country, twice in football, three times in basketball, and all four years in track and field. Justus Donaldson was a 4-time conference champion in the hurdles in the Apollo Conference. He was also a 6-time All-Apollo award winner during his high school career. During his junior year, Justus Donaldson won the Craig Milam Award, the award for most outstanding male athlete at his high school.

College Signing[edit]

On November 13, 2017, Justus Donaldson signed a letter of intent to sign with the University of Evansville Purple Aces. He currently runs the Heptathlon (Indoor) and the Decathlon (Outdoor) for the Purple Aces Track and Field.

2019 Seasons[edit]

Justus Donaldson placed 10th in the Missouri Valley Conference as a freshman in the Heptathlon

He was unable to compete in the Decathlon for the outdoor season due to an undisclosed injury.

Current News[edit]

Justus Donaldson is the current record holder for the Purple Aces in the javelin throw with a distance of 46.00 meters.

He is also the current record holder in the Heptathlon for the Purple Aces with a score of 3529 points.
