History
The village was originally formed in 1960’s with mainly the migrants from West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh.
Sri Rama Temple, Hanuman Statue and Maramma Temple are main attractions of the village.

Village has A government school which teaches up to 4th grade. Veterans from this school are progressed in different fields and settled in bigger cities in India and US.

Economy
Agriculture mainly consists of production of Rice and milk. Entire farm land in the village is irrigated. There is a canal water available for agriculture, The water flows from Bhadra dam.
