KOSMIC is a portuguese DJ and record producer duo composed of Vitor Coelho (born 1995) and Daniel Pires (born 1997). The duo originated in Anadia, Portugal and has been active since 2018. They mainly produce Big Room House and Progressive House music.
Early Life[edit]
Initially they were acting as solo artists, Vitor Coelho as SE7EN and Daniel Pires as ESSENSSE.
SE7EN started in the end of 2013 and had a big impact back in the days when his tracks got supported by names like Hardwell, Borgeous, YVES V, Breathe Carolina, WolfPack, TWIIG and many others, while having tracks being played in the biggest world stages, such as Tomorrowland. He also was a big influence in the Youtube community, for releasing several tutorials about music production on his channel.
ESSENSSE on the other hand always had that perfectionist mindset, while trying to be innovative and creative on his production.
Career[edit]
In 2017, Vitor invited Daniel to play a b2b in Festival Anadia Jovem. Few days later they decided to remix a track together.
In April 2018 they finally decided to join forces, and this is where KOSMIC was born. Their first live act was precisely two months later on their hometown in Feira da Vinha e do Vinho, which was a great success since the event was full.
Later that year their first single "Good Vibes" is released under the prestigious label Quartzo Records.
