ATEEZ (Hangul: 에이티즈; formerly known as KQ Fellaz) is a South Korean boy group formed by KQ Entertainment in 2018. The group consists of 8 members: HongJoong, SeongHwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, WooYoung, and Jongho. The group had a 9th member, Junyoung, but KQ Entertainment announced that Junyoung would not be joining the final lineup. They quickly became well known when they uploaded their first performance video cover of Famous Dex - Pick it up and Cardi B - Lick[1] [2]
History[edit]
On May 18th 2018, The offical KQ Entertainment Youtube Channel uploaded a dance performance of Ateez dancing to Famous Dex - Pick it up [3]. The video became popular quickly aswell as the second dance performance that was uploaded shortly after. A few days after the two dance performances were uploaded, the first episode of a reality show for Ateez (Kq Fellaz) were uploaded on May 22nd 2018. On Episode 10, it was announced there would be a new member, Lee Junyoung, who is now no longer a member of Ateez. On the final episode, on July 2nd, They released their first Music Video named 'From,' The lyrics were written by all the members, including Lee Junyoung.
A few months later, it was announced that there would be an Mnet TV Show starring Ateez, called 'Code Name is Ateez.'
On October 24th 2018, they official debuted with their album, 'All To Zero'
