Kabra Altaf

Kabra Altaf (born 1999[1]) is an Indian sportsperson and professional judoka.[2][3][4]

Life[edit]

Altaf is from Srinagar.[4] She first became a national ski champion however soon switched to judo, a sport with more opportunities in India.[2][4]

She was awarded outstanding sportsperson of the year award by J&K Government in 2021.[5][6][7] She has won several nation-level medals while representing J&K.[8]

She clinched the bronze medal in the 3rd Khelo India University Games in 2020, becoming the only Kashmiri athlete to win a medal at the event.[9][10]
