Karl Lillrud (entrepreneur)

Karl Lillrud (born May 13, 1980) is a Swedish entrepreneur and founder of Pricelizer, a Swedish e-commerce start-up founded in 2013. Pricelizer was featured as one of the most successful startups of the business world by America’s renown news agency, CNBC in 2015.[1]

Karl Lillrud is currently the CEO of Swedish retail company, Maneer, a professional keynote and a TEDx speaker as a retail expert. He is also the founder of Zynergy room (2008) which is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to gather on one platform to exchange ideas.[2]

Career

Lillrud’s idea and mission behind Pricelizer was to give life to abandoned shopping carts due to high costs through “cart charging”. Cart charging alerts the consumer via email as soon as the price drops on items selected in the abandoned cart. The pricelizer tool is a web app (Pricelizer.com) that is designed to automatically track changes in prices on the selected products. The merchant is charged only when a sale is produced by the customer.

Lillrud was the founder and CEO of Revalizer in 2016. Revalizer is the front-end e-commerce extension that engages the consumer while Pricelizer operates at the back-end dealing with the products. The idea behind Revalizer was to use multiple tools to provide greater customer satisfaction and experience while shopping online.

Awards

Global SaaS (Software-as-a-Service Awards) Awards of 2016 and 2017.[3]
