Background[edit]

Carmine Valente was born on December 31 1984, in Molfetta (Bari), Italy. He spent his childhood in Molfetta where he lived until the age of 23, when he moved to Rome after completing his studies in Informatics. During his childhood, Carmine started to familiarize with music going through the records of his father which included Queen, Stevie Wonder, Domenico Modugno, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc. Carmine always mentioned that he inherited his determination from his mother and his passion for music from his father. In his young age, Carmine started to play guitar with local bands, experiencing different styles of music from blues to hard rock. According to him, his diverse music background in conjunction with his "living around the world" (he has lived in Italy, Switzerland, Africa, and USA), have added a huge value to his writing skills. Karma Rock released his first solo single (Double Life) on September 7th 2018 and will release his first solo EP (Double Life) later the same year. The records were recorded and mixed in New York City by the Grammy Award winner Tony Black.
