Karrthik Ramanathan is a budding writer and a student pursuing his Bachelors degree in Journalism, Psychology, English Studies at Christ University, Bangalore. He was born and completed his schooling at Tiruchirappali, Tamil Nadu. Right from his school days he was seen by his peers as someone who was more effective in using his right side (creativity) of the brain than his left counterpart. He is fluent in English and Tamil.

He began his writing career as a content writer (work from home internship) at ATG.World, a startup based out on Bangalore when he was in his first year of college. He wrote about various issues pertaining to diversified areas for the start up. Despite having no prior experience and after being turned down by couple of companies in prior he was focused and succeeded in giving himself an opening.[1]

He worked as a content writer at ATG.World for three months from October to December 2016. Post which he got an opportunity to intern with one of India's most acclaimed English News Daily "The Hindu" located at Tiruchirappalli for a period of 1-month during his first year summer vacation (April 2017 - May 2017). Despite being unsuccessful in getting any bylines he tried his level best to learn and understand the various nuances present in the field which would help him cement his fundamental knowledge and understanding of the field.

The experience he had at "The Hindu" helped him get into another content writing internship (work from home) at Say2Gov.in, one of the pioneer sites which deals with politics and contemporary issues pressing the society. Unfortunately, due to varied reasons despite satisfying the job requirements and clearing the assessments conducted by them he was not able to go ahead with the internship.[1]

Meanwhile, his passion to help the people in need drifted him towards social service. He served as a volunteer at Samarthanam the Trust for the diabled for a period of 3-months from June 2017 - September 2017. During his brief tenure at the trust he was involved in training the disabled adults aged somewhere between 18-30 in terms of communication, language and computer skills. He also helped in recording numerous academic and non-academic books in the form of voice recordings so that visually-impairment is no more a barrier to learning. He is also a permanent member at Enmakkal Educational and Charitable Trust based out on Tirunelvelli, Tamil Nadu.

As his tenure at Samarthanam came to an end he was started scouting for opportunities and landed up at "Fgrade Global Services". Yet another work from home internship where he was involved in developing content related to technology. His major objective was to make difficult technical stuff comprehend-able even to a layman who doesn't have any idea about the technicalities involved, whereby helping them make an informed choice while choosing technical products. He worked as a content writing intern from November 2017 till March 2018 for a period of 5 months. [1]

After gaining a good knowledge both about journalism and the field of writing he ventured into "Deccan Chronicle" yet another English national daily celebrated across the country's landscape for his summer internship 2018. This time he wasn't ready to compromise and vowed to get at least one of his works published. His hard work paid off and he ended up getting around 10 of his articles published.

One of his scholarly articles titled "Pathetic state of contemporary Indian politics" got published in the book titled " Scholar's paradise - A contribution to all writers (Volume 2)", which was published by Vidhi Aagaz in the month of March, 2018.[1] The article talks about five major problems which he feels are the ones plaguing India's political landscape. Multiple letters written by him has been published in various national and regional English dailies. He has also won multiple contests and fests conducted across the country primarily related to writing, journalism and communication. [1]

He holds a diploma in Microsoft Office Package and Desktop Publishing. He has also completed certificate courses in Web designing and public speaking. He is a certified stock trader and has been awarded C2 - proficient certification in the EF SET English assessment. He has also been recommended by stalwarts as someone who is an asset to any company. One of his research papers titled "Reviving or Distorting – A Study on the Trend of Renaming Places and Erecting Statues" has been published in the online journal "International Journal of Law management and Humanities (Volume I, Issue IV)[2].

He had also maintained a website to cater to the needs of Central Board of Secondary Education [CBSE] students in classes 9,10,11 & 12 since 2013 which was closed recently in the month of October 2018 due to unavoidable reasons.[3]Further he also voices his opinion about various contemporary issues and records his emotions through a blog he has been maintaining for a couple of years now.[4] Further more he has pen penning down his thoughts at Yourquote.com for more than an year now.[5] Sometime back in the month of November 2018, he has rejoined Fgrade Global Services as a freelance content writer.
