Kasab: The Face of 26/11 is a non-fiction book by Rommel Rodrigues detailing the most heinous 2008 Mumbai attacks. The book was first published by Penguin Books India on December 31, 2010.[1][2][3][4] The 2008 Mumbai attacks, also referred to as the 26/11 Mumbai attacks was carried out by a group of 10 terrorists of the Pakistan based terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba, in a series of 12 coordinated shooting and bombing assaults on populous and iconic civilian locations that lasted for four days across city of Mumbai in which 164 people lost their lives and about 308 were wounded, many of them most grievously. The attacks which began on the evening of Wednesday, 26 November 2008 lasted until the morning of Saturday, 29 November 2008 when India's most elite National Security Guards (NSG) conducted the operation 'Operation Black Tornado' to flush out the attackers at the The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
