Kashmakash is a short movie made by the students of PDPU, Gandhinagar. The 4-minute movie talks about surrogacy, and how it has become a business and poor people are being exploited by the privileged few. The story of the movie revolves around a maid who is forced to sell her unborn child to a couple who can't conceive. Poverty has played a huge role in the decision making of the maid. The movie has no dialogues instead a voiceover which beautifully depicts was is going inside the mind of the main protagonist. The movie was first premiered at the prestigious Ramoji film city, Hyderabad. It has more than 2500 hundred views on Youtube. Directed by Ayeshah Jariwala, Cinematography by Joji Johnson and Script by Shubham Wani. The movie casts include Ridhi Shah as a maid, Harnoor Juneja as the doctor, Miti Shah and Mayank Singla as the couple.
