A.M. KHALEEL, born on August 2, 1961, an Indian entrepreneur and owner of leading manufacturing company in Qatar. He is the owner of GOODWIN QATAR WLL & GOODWIN PIPES FACTORY QATAR.
Early Life[edit]
A.M. Khaleel was the eldest son of Mr. A. Abdulla and Mrs. Maryam; an aerostatic family lived in Alleppey. His family name was very well-known called as “Paigamadom”. His father doing in the film industries in Kollam. In this reason, their family decided to transfer in Kollam. Khaleel was started his studies in Kollam and during his educational days, he supports his father managing a Cinema Theatre “Kumar” and “Zenith Theatre” in decade. Khaleel is married to Fousia and the couple have 1daughter Amina and 2 sons Ajmal & Afsal.
Career[edit]
As A.M. Khaleel has a dense experienced in cinema since 1978, he decided to start his own business in the same track as his father. He is doing in cinema exhibitor, distributions and finally producing Malayalam movies. Unfortunately, the film productions weren’t succeed and extraneous outcome against to his aims in the film industry. This circumstance doesn’t forbid him to persuade his goals in life.
After a decade, Khaleel choose to transfer to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to find jobs as an expat. In his first year in KSA was not an easy life. Hence, he stands up despite of difficulties he encountered in his life. He encompasses into construction line especially in infrastructure sector. He was the best supplier and support for the Saudi Aramco Daharan, Saudi Cement Company 4th Expansion, royal commission & infrastructure projects. Despondently, his relationship with local sponsor was broken.
He was not distressed in this condition instead, he decide to utilize his experienced and enhance in Qatar. He opens up his hands and conquer the failures had happened in the past and starts a new era in construction & infrastructure works.
First corporate he had embrace with Regal Industries Company in Qatar as equal partner and General Manager. Hence, partnership was doesn’t last and not succeed. He plans to put up his own business but that time he is not in the position to start a company. Meanwhile, he joined and Managing National Paints & National Fibreglasss Company.
As time goes on, Khaleel found out that some manufacturing unit which is sustainable in Qatar. Based on his research, GRP – Glass Reinforced Plastic is the superlative product to manufacture since there is no much competitors in the market and competitors are not maintaining the quality products. To obtain knowledge on this product, he attended classes, trainings, JEC exhibitions and conferences in different countries such as Paris, Singapore, China & Malaysia to know more about this products and technologies.
In 2004, Khaleel established his first owned company “DAFOS” which focused on manufacturing sector in Qatar for GRP Composites Products. It was successfully instigatedin the market. When ASIAN games launched in 2007 at Qatar, he was changed the company name to GOODWIN QATAR WLL with the same line for manufacturing of GRP Composites for infrastructure & development works under different projects of government and private sectors.
After 10 years successful business, A.M. Khaleel opens his 2nd unit of production plant “GOODWIN QATAR PIPES FACTORY” in 2018. His prominence in GRP composites made him as one of the leading & popular GRP manufacturing in the Qatar’s market. In this new production unit, it can produce high pressure pipes with the range from 100 mm – 3000 mm diameters with various length complies with specifications, stiffness and pressure.
Mid of the year 2018, the Qatar government “Manateq – Free Economic Zone”, allotted areas for manufacturing products for export purpose. The opportunities had raised up for Khaleel. The 3rd unit of production plant plans to operate early of year 2020. The methods of productions will be controlled by the robot system for easiest and fastest production process. This will focus the product distribution to other Arab countries and African countries. These GRP composites product is highly required for electrical and water department, telecommunication, switchgear companies.

After a successful career in the manufacturing field, the perseverance of Khaleel was upsurge to maintain his product and services oriented for infrastructure & development works. All products became marketable since it was fully complied with the Qatar Construction Standard Specifications 2014 and International standrards.
