Kieran Smith (Swimmer)
Kieran Smith is an American competition swimmer who currently swims for the University of Florida.[1]. Prior to his time in Florida, he swam for the Ridgefield Aquatic Club[2] in Ridgefield, Connecticut. At the 2019 SEC Swimming Championships, smith placed first in the 200 yard individual medley in a time of 1:43.13[3], and second in the 400 yard individual medley with a time of 3:41.50.[4] Later, at the 2019 Men's NCAA Championships, he placed eighth in the 200 yard individual medley[5] and seventh in the 400 yard individual medley[6].
On the international stage, Smith competed at the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships where he placed second in the 200m individual medley[7]. He then was chosen to compete at the 2018 FINA World Championships (SCM), where he competed in the 400m individual medley, but failed to make it out of the heats.
