Plot[edit]
Having been incarcerated in a mental hospital for the last 15 years, the last two voluntarily, Yvonne Hutchinson (Grandma) played by Nana Visitor has never forgiven her grown son Tom for the accidental drowning death of her only daughter Megan. Grandma leaves the hospital and shows up at the house Tom shares with his wife Melissa and their eight year old daughter Annie. Grandma then seeks Annie's affections and making herself indispensable to the hard working mom. Melissa soon realizes that Grandma is actually a manipulative psychopath with the sole intent to become Annie's sole guardian to replace her own daughter.
