Kim Devine is a mayoral candidate for the 2018 municipal election in Charlottetown, PE. Kim Devine previously served as a counselor for Charlottetown.[1] Devine left her job in communications for the provincial government to focus on her campaign for mayor. [2][3] Devine participated in a mayoral debate on Wednesday October 24, 2018 hosted at the University of Prince Edward Island. She and the other candidates spoke about the "housing crisis" currently facing Charlottetown. Devine and the other candidates identified housing as a priority.[4] Devine participated in a mayoral debate on Thursday October 25, 2018 hosted by the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce where she commented that Charlottetown needs to live within its means.[5]
