This special soil nourishes the vine in an unique way that allows the vine roots to dig freely and deeply underground with the ability to hold moisture while simultaneously allowing any excess to drain away effortlessly.
The temperature of the Belemnite soil remains constant throughout the year and it releases limestone minerals giving the grapes higher acidities and assists in photosynthesis providing the highest concentration of haute quality grapes in the World.
King Louis Champagne Cellar
King Louis Champagne is produced by a 7th generation family owned grower on 23 hectares in the village of Le Mesnil Sur Oger.
Experts in the method champenoise and fully equipped with traditional 60 HL oak barrels, the bottles are preciously stored in our cellar 30 meters underground maintained at a constant temperature of 10 degrees and 90 % humidity. Champagne Le Mesnil Sur Oger
