Kohei Kawaguchi

Kohei, a former rugby union player, was born in Nagasaki, Japan. He predominantly played in the FB and WTB teams. He represented Japan in the 19 and under team.

In 2007, he graduated from Nagasaki Kita High school, and then he entered into the University of Tsukuba.

When he was in the 4th grade, he was the rugby captain for the University of Tsukuba rugby football team. He was one of the greatest captains at this university.

In 2011, he graduated from the University of Tsukuba, and he played for the Coca-cola Red Sparks team. He was the vice captain for two seasons.

In 2015, he played for team Wanneroo in Western Australia, and in 2017 he played for the Mahurangi team in the North Harbor.

Kohei moved to New Zealand in 2017 to further pursue his rugby interests.
