Kola Oyeneyin is a Nigerian Entrepreneur[1] and Activist.[2] He is the founder and CEO of Venia Group,[3] a venture creation and development company, recognised by the London Stock Exchange.[4][5]
Career and Business[edit]
Kola was a Business Analyst at Hewlett-Packard for 3 years in the United Kingdom before joining Lekki British School as the Business Manager.[6] In 2011, he founded Venia Group, a venture creation and development company;[1] its subsidiaries are Venia Business Hub, a provider of serviced offices and co-working spaces[7][8][9] and AutoGenius, Nigeria's first digital insurance platform.[10]
Recognition[edit]
The Vice President of Nigeria appointed Kola Oyeneyin a member of the Advisory Group on Technology and Creativity in 2018.[11][3] The Future Awards Africa nominated Kola Oyeneyin as Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012.[12]
Political Interest and Advocacy[edit]
Kola is the Founder and Convener of GenVoices, a non-partisan group launched in January 2012 via a telethon prepare youth for political engagement.[13][14] Kola mobilised and led a section of the Occupy Nigeria movement in Lagos.[15] In 2010, Kola founded Sleeves Up, a youth empowerment foundation.[16][17]

In 2015, Kola Oyeneyin got married to Eyitope St. Matthew Daniel.[18][19]
