Krachalla was a powerful king of the Khasa kingdom. During his reign the Khasa Kingdom's boundaries had extended from Kumao to Doti towards the West, Dullu, Dailekha and Surkhet towards the East, and Terai to the South.[1]

According to the inscription of Dullu, Krachalla had established the headquarters of the Kingdom of Khasa at Dullu and had taken for himself the title of 'Parambhattarak Maharajdhiraj Parmeshwor '. He had also won the states of Kumao-Gadhwal.

Religion[edit]

King Krachalla was known to follow both the Hindu Religion and the Buddhist religion with equal faith. He was a tolerant king allowing all sects of Hinduism such as Shiva, Shakta and Baishnav to propser as well as allowing his personal Buddhist faith to sustain.

Works[edit]

Krachalla had established Sinja market as a center of Haatbazaar . He had constructed trade routes for TIbet, Sinja, Dullu, Surkhet, Bardiya and Indian traders. He had managed to make Dullu area known as Viratsthan. It was in his reign that, SInja was made renowned as a capital of an important state around India to the South.[1]
