Kul

Kul Wadhwa is an Internet entrepreneur and the current CEO Uncorporeal systems.[1] He also worked for the Wikimedia Foundation foundaton from 2007.

Education[edit]

Wadhwa was born in Anaheim, California. He graduate from Whitney High School in Cerritos, CA in 1990. He received both his Bachelors and master's degrees from Stanford University in 1994 and 1995, respectively.

Career[edit]

He did economic research at RAND Corporation. He co-authored his first publication while an undergraduate student at Stanford.[2]

Then, right out of grad school from Stanford, Wadhwa moved to Japan and co-founded a digital certification company, Cybertrust Japan, during the early days when people just starting making purchases on the internet[3]

He joined Wikimedia foundation in 2010 as Head of Business development. He was promoted to Head of Mobile Development by 2010. One of his projects while at WMF was Wikipedia Zero.[4] The project received the SXSW Interactive award.[5]

After WMF, he served as an advisor for the Knight foundation and Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. He Co-founded Ayoudo.
