Kumbharacha Ganpati is a 2020 Marathi musical short film on the life of a potter. It was written and directed by Subodh Anand. This movie was well liked by the people.[1] The film stars Rudrapratapsingh Thakur, Sangramsingh Thakur and Mukund Wasule in the lead roles.[2]
Plot[edit]
Kumbharacha Ganpati[3] is a Musical Short Film which tells about the struggle of a potter and his grandson.[4] Because of competition from Plaster-of-Paris (POP) statues of idol, the potter's clay idols do not get the price. This means financial hardship for the potter. And at the same time, POP idols harm the environment. It has been told through this film that if you use clay idols instead of using POP idols, then the environment will also be protected, and potter life, too.
