Kwame Adu-Mante (born September 1, 1979) is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, expert in media marketing and CEO of Focus 1 Group with several companies scattered across the 10 Regions of Ghana.

Early life[edit]

Kwame Adu-Mante, a Christian born to Joseph Adu-Mante and Beatrice Appiagyei at Kwabre-Kenyase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana on September 1, 1979.

Adu-Mante had his primary education at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Primary School in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, had his Senior High School education at the Obuasi Senior High Technical School and graduated with Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Technology from Takoradi Polytechnic now referred to as Takoradi Technical University.

Business career[edit]

Kwame Adu-Mante is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Focus 1 Group. He was employed as Radio night presenter in January 2000, rose through the ranks to became the Marketing Manager and later the General Manager of Skyy Power FM in Sekondi-Takoradi. He left Skyy Power FM in 2007 to take charge Radio Maxx in 2008 became a shareholder in 2012.

He acquired Spice 91.9 FM wholly in 2013 and majority stake in Beach 105.5 FM in 2014 and offloaded his stakes in Radio Maxx In 2016. Adu-Mante is into Real Estate and has properties in Accra, Kumasi and Sekondi-Takoradi.

Focus 1 Group[edit]

Focus 1 Group is the mother body of five different entities, namely Focus 1 Distribution, Focus 1 Media, Focus 1 Event and Focus 1 Construction and UnikLife Microfinance.

Philanthropist[edit]

The Takoradi Market Circle got a modern-day Health Service Center on January 17, 2018 courtesy a philanthropist, Kwame Adu-Mante, Chief Executive Officer of Focus 1 Group which will be administered by the Ghana Health Service. An estimate of the Health Center revealed a whooping 100,000 Ghanaian cedi was pumped into the structure.
