Kyan Laslett O'Brien is a music composer, who has worked on adverts and produced music for TV shows and films.

Laslett O'Brien started in London's Drum and Bass Jungle scene whilst working as a Junior Sound Designer for The Tape Gallery, then London's leading advertising post production house. His records on the No U Turn and Saigon labels have been played on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM and clubs around the globe.

He has been a music composer/sound designer since 1996. He has worked on numerous adverts and produced music/sound design for television and film. Some of his most notable work has been for Kiss 100 London, Yellow Pages, Sony PlayStation & ESPN America. He has worked for agencies including Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, Leo Burnett, and Saatchi & Saatchi. He has produced music/sound design for over 200 television programmes, and documentaries. Most recently, his music can be seen in the two award-winning feature films, RAG TAG and TERRY.

In television, he has had his music used in the latest series of Little Britain, The Derren Brown Show, Mind Control, the Emmy award-winning Without a Trace, Gumball Rally 3000, Puff Daddy’s Making The Band, MTV Hacked, Smalltown Ecstasy, Pimp My Ride, bro'Town, The Simple Life, Torchwood Declassified and the Julian Temple film about Joe Strummer from the Clash, The Future is Unwritten, to name just a few. He is currently composing the soundtracks for the ESPN classic promos and working on various other projects.
