Laurent A. Voivenel (born 2 August 1959) is a French hotelier. He is the Senior Vice President, Operations & Development for Middle East, Africa & India for Swiss-Belhotel International. He holds over 30 years of international hotel and asset management experience with some of the world’s leading hospitality brands including Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

He was born in Deauville, France, and has a master’s degree in management.
Career[edit]
Laurent A. Voivenel began his career in the hotel industry in Deauville, then went to Sheraton Okinawa Hotel in Japan as Food and Beverage Director in 1989. He moved to Sheraton Moana Surfrider Hotel in Hawaii as Director of Catering in 1990. He returned to France and became the Food and Beverage Director at Noga Hilton Cannes from 1994 to 1996. He continued his career by becoming General Manager of Le Royal Meridien Bahrain in 2000 and subsequently held numerous other senior positions with the Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He took over as Chief Executive Officer of HMH – Hospitality Management Holding in 2013 in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and held the position for three years. Since March 1, 2016, he has served as Senior Vice President of Swiss-Belhotel International.
