Lauryn Lawler (born 05 August 1997) is a British actress, model, artist, and voice actress born in Liverpool, England.

Early life[edit]

Lauryn Kathleen Lawler was born on August 05, in Liverpool, England.

Lawler attended North Liverpool Academy from 2008 and then graduated in 2013. After graduation, Lawler focused her studies and main interests in art, music, performing arts, and modelling.

Career[edit]

Lawler began illustrating drawings when she was 7 years old. She used to spend her time as a child creating freehand drawings on Microsoft Paint. Lawler studied different kinds of art styles and artists through children’s books researching illustrators such as Quentin Blake and Chris Riddell.

Lawler graduated from college in 2018 and focused her main interests in modelling and acting. She discontinued her studies in art.

Capital of Culture[edit]

Lawler designed a plan of a bench during primary school for Capital of Culture. Her design was selected out of all the pupils in her school. Her entry was then sent off to Capital of Cultures head office and her design was displayed on an online voting poll versus other competitors. Lawler's unique design was reaching to hundreds of votes. The end result was leaving Lawler the winner of the competition . [1]

Lawler's bench design was in the process of construction and the final result was not revealed to Lawler until a year later. It was built by B Rourke & Co Ltd.[2] Following that year, Lawler received an invitation to see the finished product of her design. Lawler was awarded with a Capital of Culture certification followed by her bench which is currently displayed in the playground of Lawler's childhood school, Kirkdale St. Lawrence. On the day of Lawler’s bench reveal she met television producer and screenwriter Phil Redmond, chairman of UK Capital of Culture, and was featured on the front page of the Liverpool Echo. [3]

Personal life[edit]

Lawler suffers with Scoliosis. Lawler is a supporter of the Labour Party.

Lawler gave birth to her first child in November 2019.

Awards[edit]

  • 2009 - Lawler won an award in 2009 during high school for best story teller.[4]
  • 2009 - Lawler was awarded Capital of Culture certification followed by her bench she designed which is currently displayed in the playground of Lawler's childhood school.
