The Lay Evangelist Movement or LEM is comprised of Lay Catholic Christian Evangelists with a charismatic spirit, responding to the call of the Church. An evangelist is: a bringer of good tidings. Our equipping and empowerment is varied in spiritual gifting but united in calling. We are men and women whose sole purpose is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the youth and the needy. The proclamation of the gospel requiring us to be engaged in the “discipleship” of the youth and the needy through three ministries: Teaching, Preaching and Music.

Vision:

To respond to the Church call to strengthen the lay specially the youth and the needy, towards the development of the church and the society.

Mission:

1.  To respond to the spiritual, moral, psychological and socio-cultural needs of the Filipino youth and the needy.

2.  To let GOD be known to the youth and the needy in the state of their lives.

3.  To meet the spiritual and moral needs of the poor and the needy.

4.  To respond to the challenges of the Church in the modern times.

Objectives:

1.  To promote faith formation through music, recollections and retreats.

2.  To provide seminar, education and training through leadership seminars, speakers training, life in the spirit seminar, growth in the spirit seminar and discipleship series.

3.  To disseminate Christian and lay information to the public.

Strategies:

1.  Lifestyle evangelism - an approach to evangelism characterized by someone demonstrating their faith by their actions in the hope that people around them will be impressed with how God affects that person's life, and become a Christian.

2.  Friendship evangelism - an approach to evangelism characterized by Christians developing relationships with people in order to show them kindness and talk to them about God eventually.

3.  Youth evangelism  - focuses on evangelizing youth between the ages of 13 and 25 years old.

4. Creative evangelism - an approach to evangelism is where the creative arts (such as music, visual art, drama, film) are used to present a gospel message.

5. Radio evangelism - an approach to evangelism with the usage of radio broadcasts to evangelize to listeners, sometimes worldwide in one broadcast.

6. Internet evangelism is a form of evangelism where the Christian gospel is presented on the Internet.

7. Personal Evangelism -Sometimes referred to as "one to one" or "personal work", this approach to evangelism is when one Christian evangelizes to, typically, one non-Christian, or only a few non-Christians, in a private manner.
