The House Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment Committee is a 21 member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice chairman, a secretary, and 18 members. The Committee operates under a House mandate to ensure the drawing of boundaries for Georgia’s State House, State Senate, and U.S. House districts.[1]

Scope and jurisdiction[edit]

The House Legislative & Congressional Reapportionment Committee is responsible for drawing the boundaries of Georgia’s State House, State Senate, and U.S. House districts. The committee will base their determinations on population data from the latest decennial U.S. Census.[1]
