Lightgliders is an online virtual world of Christian faith, games, and community created to engage kids, redeem screen time, and encourage family conversations[1][2]. Through story and gameplay, Lightgliders presents a Christian worldview to equip parents with a positive and safe option for their children online[2]. It was started by a former youth pastor who was looking for a culturally relevant and globally distributed way to impact kids before the teenage years[3]. Initially launched as a desktop game in 2014[1], Lightgliders has evolved its platform to include apps in the iOS, Google Play, and Amazon AppStore[2]. Today Lightgliders is utilized by thousands of kids and families in numerous countries around the world.
