From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Donny Ganim, (born April 23, 1998), known professionally as Lil Brain, is an American rapper, record producer and songwriter. He is best known for his song "What You Gonna Say" which peaked at number 93 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and other songs such as "Skrt" and "Like Ouu". He released his debut project, "A for Effort" on April 1, 2018. Early Life: Lil Brain was born on April 23, 1998 in Hamilton, Massachusetts. He grew up in an upper class neighborhood and received his primary education at Brookwood, a private school in Manchester, MA. He then received a high school education at St. John's Preparatory School in Danvers, MA. After graduating high school with a 3.9 GPA, Lil Brain was accepted into The College of the Holy Cross where he currently is going into his Junior year. Lil Brain is majoring in economics, but pursues music in his free time. Lil Brain is on track to graduate Holy Cross in 2020. Career: Lil Brain began his music career when he was 16 years old. His long-time friend Cameron Collins first introduced Lil Brain into the world of rapping through his car-ride casual freestyles. He began learning how to craft beats for his friend's freestyles in FL Studio. Shortly thereafter, he began rapping himself. He started rapping under the name "Shyboy," but later he changed it to "Lil Brain." He chose Lil Brain as an ironic tribute to all new "lil" rappers coming up, and he chose "brain" in part because it satirizes how most modern-day rappers do not have much education. Lil Brain released his first song, "David Blaine" on Soundcloud in early 2018. It quickly racked up over 1 million plays as the catchy, upbeat record spread across the nation. After realizing that people enjoyed his music, Lil Brain began making more -- uploading his content to major music platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. In a matter of months, Lil Brain has over 2.5 Million plays on Soundcloud, and over 600,000 streams on Spotify. With new collaborations with popular artists on the way, Lil Brain's music is sure to gain traction in the coming months. Other Lil Brain is an unsigned artist who has so far remained out of nation-wide attention. Look for new Lil Brain music to be released soon.
