Alex[edit]

Alex Rose Lee (born 1992) from South Shields, Tyne & Wear.[citation needed] She worked for McDonald's and has worked as an air stewardess.[citation needed] On 22 February 2011 she took part in BBC Three's Snog Marry Avoid?, appearing in episode 8 of series 4. Alex left the house in third place at the Finale, winning an automatic £30,000 share of the prize fund.[3] She had been spared the public vote in all previous weeks. She was never put up for eviction by her fellow housemates. She was the last woman to leave the house.

Anton[edit]

Anton Murphy (born 1987) was a musician from Croydon, South London.[citation needed] He ran a record label and produced his own music from his studio in London.[citation needed] He celebrated his 24th birthday in the house on Day 23 when he was crowned 'King of the House' for the day and fooled into believing his single had topped the music charts.[5] He was nominated for eviction in Week 5 and received the second fewest votes to save on Day 36. On Day 39, Anton became 'undead' and joined Jay in the Crypt as part of a Week 6 nominations twist spying on their fellow housemates and setting pranks.[6] On Day 41, Anton rejoined the housemates along with Jay when both burst out of coffins to surprise them during a mock "seance". Anton had one minute to choose a fellow housemate to face the public vote alongside himself and Jay, choosing Jem.[7] Anton was evicted on day 43.[8]

Faye[edit]

Faye Palmer (born 1989) was a professional wrestler from Tamworth, Staffordshire.[citation needed] She takes part in competitive wrestling under the name Darcy Steele.[citation needed] On Day 10, Faye was given the "Diss & Kiss" secret task with the prize of a luxurious date with a male housemate of her choosing. She successfully completed the task and chose Aaron as her date.[9] Faye was nominated for eviction in Weeks 4 and 5.[10] On Day 29, she was joined in the house by her elder sister Jem Palmer. She received the second highest number of votes in Week 5. She faced the public vote again in Week 7 after her sister Jem walked.[11] In the Week 8 Halloween eve nominations, Faye was nominated for eviction; she lost the vote on Day 57 and left the house.[12]

Harry[edit]

Harry Blake (born 1988) from Cheshire.[citation needed] He owns his own milkshake factory and is a fan of fox hunting.[citation needed] He was nominated for eviction in Week 1. On Day 41, Harry was nominated by Jay to face the public vote during a paranormal themed twist, but on Day 43, he was saved by the largest proportion of public vote along with Jem.[7] He faced the public vote to save from eviction again in Week 7 and was evicted on day 50.[11]

Heaven[edit]

Heaven Afrika (born 1980) was a model, writer and holistic healer from London.[citation needed] Heaven was the first ever house mate to do a bungee jump as part of a task, being lifted from a crane in the garden. In her eviction interview, it was revealed that there was less than half of a percent between Heaven and fellow housemate Aden. She was nominated for eviction on Weeks 2 and 3 and was evicted on Day 22.[13]

Jay[edit]

Jay McKray (born 1984) was the series runner-up of Big Brother 2011. He is a plumber, fitness instructor, DJ and barber from Newcastle.[citation needed] McKray was married to Louise Cliffe with whom he met during the series. They were married on 9 June 2012.[14] He was nominated for eviction in Week 5 but survived. In Week 6, Jay left the main house to enter the Crypt as a ghoul to participate in a nominations twist.[6] He returned from the 'undead' on Day 41 during a mock "seance", having selected Harry to face the public vote to save alongside himself, Anton and Jem.[7] He was saved from eviction on Day 43 but was put up for eviction again on Day 47.[11] He finished as runner-up.[3]

Jem[edit]

Jemma "Jem" Palmer (born 1983)[15] was a wrestler from Tamworth, sister of Faye.[citation needed] She has appeared on Gladiators and is known as Inferno.[16] She entered the house on Day 29. On Day 41, Jem won a place at the VIP party celebrating the release of horror movie Paranormal Activity 3.[2] The same night, she was nominated to face the public vote by Anton during a mock "seance" as a paranormal nominations twist, but she walked on Day 48.

Louise[edit]

Louise Cliffe (born 1985) was an actress, singer, writer and model from Manchester.[citation needed] She has appeared in various popular magazines due to her modelling career and has been crowned Miss Manchester.[17] Louise has also appeared in various films such as Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead and Annihilation Earth.[18] On Day 41, she joined fellow housemates Aaron, Jem and Tom at the red carpet showing of horror film Paranormal Activity 3.[2] Louise was nominated for eviction in Week 8 and she beat Faye to enter Week 9 as a finalist. She finished in fourth place. She married Jay McKray, whom she met in the series.

Maisy[edit]

Maisy James (born 1992) was a store assistant and TV extra from Bromley in south-east London.[citation needed] She was nominated for eviction in Week 4 and was evicted on Day 29.[10] Since her eviction, Maisy has featured as a guest on sister-show, Big Brother's Bit on the Side.

Mark[edit]

Mark Henderson (born 1982) was a sales assistant from Berkshire.[citation needed] He had previously auditioned for the eleventh series.[19] On Day 27, Mark walked, claiming to be unable to cope under the gaze of the cameras.[20] Since his departure, Mark has appeared as a regular on spin-off show, Big Brother's Bit on the Side.

Rebeckah[edit]

Rebeckah Vaughan (born 1983) was a hostess from the Wirral.[citation needed] She was nominated for eviction in Week 2 and on Day 15 was evicted from the house.[21] Post-eviction, Rebeckah has joined other ex-housemates on Big Brother's Bit on the Side. On Day 31, she re-entered the Big Brother house for a dinner date with Tom who won it during the 'Let's Get Smashed' task.[22]

Tashie[edit]

Tashie Jackson (born 1990) was a singer and actress from Oxford.[citation needed] She became the first contestant to be evicted on Day 8.[23] Post-eviction, Tashie returned to the compound to do a bungee jump and appeared as a guest on Big Brother's Bit on the Side. On Day 40, Tashie re-entered the house to play a part in the Scream task, appearing to Alex in the small task room as a dog with human head.

Tom[edit]

Thomas "Tom" O'Connell (born 1990) was a bisexual[24] sales assistant from Solihull, West Midlands.[25][26] Shortly after entering the House, he was informed that his grandfather had died, but he decided to remain in the House. On Day 26, Tom's efforts in meeting his target for doll production in the Toy Factory task gained the housemates a shopping budget of £500, despite his fellow 'workers' sabotaging the task with disruptive behaviour. On Day 31, Tom won a date with ex-contestant Rebeckah during the 'Let's get smashed' task.[22] On Day 41, he joined fellow housemates Aaron, Jem and Louise at the preview night of horror movie Paranormal Activity 3.[2] Like Alex, Tom never faced the public vote until Week 9, when he was evicted on 10 November, receiving fewer votes to win than any of the other remaining housemates. He thus finished in fifth place. Following the prize fund twist, Tom left the house with a reward of £10, plus a promised share of the four finalists' winnings.
