List of TV programs using outside broadcast (1950-90)
This is a list of TV programs produced in the UK, made between 1950 and 1990 that utilised outside broadcast filming within their programs. This list covers a wide array of programs ranging from sitcoms, news programs, children's shows, dramas [1], sports and entertainment shows that used OB in it's entirety/ certain episodes/ series or the occasional segment when it was used instead of film which was used in most TV programs up to the end of the 1980's. [2] The table includes the program name, the various episodes/ series where OB was used, the original TV channel it first aired on and the transmission dates. [3] Also included are some stills featuring programs that were shot with OB [4], for illustration purposes.
