There are 22 bus operators in Cornwall.[1] Most of Cornwall's bus services are provide by First Kernow, which covers most west and central Cornwall routes.[2] Out of a total 10 million journeys each year, 4 million journeys are provided under contract with Cornwall Council as part of their £6 million per year subsidy scheme.[3]
