Sylvain Wiltord is a French footballer who played professionally from 1991 to 2012. He made his debut for the France national team in February 1999, and scored his first goal the following month, the opening goal in a 2–0 win over Armenia in qualifying for UEFA Euro 2000. He went on to make 92 appearances in total, and scored 26 goals (an average of 0.28 goals per game), which puts him 11th on the all-time list of highest goalscorers for France. He scored his final goal in a friendly match against Denmark in May 2006, ahead of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. His final appearance came in November that year.
