Love Your Enemies Day
"Love Your Enemies Day" is a day focused on the idea of loving and respecting other people which we disagree with. The date of June 27 was selected based on the reference to Luke Chapter 6, verse 27 of the New Testament in the Christian Bible, but it is not a Christian holiday, as the concept of universal love and respect for others is not restricted to Christianity. The first Love Your Enemies day was observed June 27, 2018, in response to a surge in uncivil discourse seen in social and print media and in public.
