Lucas Malamule Ndala[edit]

Lucas Malamule Ndala(born 04 December 1974) is the COO(Chief Operating Officer) of OpenServe company since June 2015.

Early life[edit]

Lucas Ndala is the second born to his mother and he has one brother. He did his primary school school at Winterveld Primary School in Winterveld area around 1980 and he then proceeded to do his high school at Motsemogolo High School in 1987.

Education[edit]

After completing his matric at Winterveld area Mr. Ndala continued to study with University of Cape Town where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and completed his articles with Deloitte. He also holds Post Graduate Diploma in Management from UCT,PGDM(UCT),B.Com(UWC)

Career[edit]

serves as Chief Executive Officer of MOGS Proprietary Limited. Mr. Ndala has been its Executive Finance Director since 2008 at Royal Bafokeng Holdings (Pty) Limited. He served as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Ndala served as the Finance Manager of Strategic Investments at Royal Bafokeng Finance since 2004. His responsibilities include meetings with potential investees, preparations of financial forecasts and valuations, participation in deal negotiation, attending board meetings as either shareholder representative or board member. He joined Mettle in their structured finance division and thereafter moved to the Corporate credit division of Barclays Bank. He served as a Manager at Barclays Bank Plc SA. His Corporate Credit Responsibilities included preparation of the SA and non-presence countries credit papers for approval by the credit committee, monitoring of financial covenants and taking corrective action in the event of breach. He served as a Trainee Accountant at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Ndala served as the Non-Executive Chairman of MB Technologies Ltd. and served as its Executive Director. He served as a Non-Executive Director at Royal Bafokeng Platinum Limited from May 28, 2013 to November 24, 2015. He served as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Attacq Limited from November 2010 to April 30, 2014. He holds various directorships, including Fraser Alexander (Proprietary) Limited, Atterbury Investment Holdings (Proprietary) Limited and MB Technologies Limited. He attended client meetings with corporate banking team. He has been a Director of Phoka Petroleum, Matafield Petroleum and Geared Lubricants (Exxon Mobil JVs with RBN) since January 2005. He serves as a Director of Royal Bafokeng Capital (Pty) Ltd. He served as a Non-Executive Director of South African Coal Mining Holdings Limited until August 31, 2011 and Metair Investments Ltd. Lucas Ndala joined Openserve in August 1,2015 after his successes as Acting CEO and Finance Director of Royal Bafokeng Holdings (Pty) Ltd, and the CEO for Mining Oil and Gas Services (MOGS).

Awards[edit]

Mr. Ndala was named the Man of the Year(Department of Arts and Culture) when he won the spectecular arts and crafts online megazine in 2016.

Sports[edit]

Lucas Ndala has been on Comrades Marathon since 2012 and he won several Bronze medals since then.
