Mahadhammika Temple is a Burmese (Myanmar) Buddhist Temple, located at 12 High Meadow Place, Toronto, Ontario, M2H 1Y3 in Canada. It is managed by the Burma Buddhist Association of Ontario (BBAO) which was formed in January 1987. BBAO was granted charitable association status by the Government of Ontario Province in January 1988. The Mahadhammika Temple was originally located in a house in a residential area in Toronto. A new temple was built on the current location, 12 High Meadow Place, Toronto and moved on 24 July 2002. There are several resident monks at the temple. Weekly Dhamma talks are held on Saturdays and events are organized every month on auspicious Buddhist religious days such as Vesak Day, Vassa (Waso) Day, etc. The temple also serves as a meeting place for the devotees of the Theravada Buddhist faith, from the Myanmar community as well as others such as Bangladeshi, Vietnamese and Sri Lankan Buddhist communities.
