this village situated in choubattakhal tehsil of Uttarakhand. This is small village of about 80 families. The first inhabitant of village was Mr Tula Ram. Mr Tula Ram was born on 1784 in nearby village ida his father nanthu Ram has two wives, one wife was from garhwal and other wife was from kumunon. It is believed that nanthu ram was cattle dealer used to visit frequently kumoun. Nanthu ram had three sons Elder one was Mr tula Ram and 2nd name is jiv ram and third son was annu ji. Annu was step brother of tula ram and jiv ram. The first wife of Nanthu Ram whom belong to kumuon dead at young age. Both the sons of Nanthu ram from this wife was teenager. Young Tula ram was hard worker and able to face difficult challanges. When the mother expired he was given affection and love by his Grand father Mr Mainu ram. It is to mention that the name of village was taken on grand father name. Behavior of Step mother was not good for Tula ram and Jiv Ram. At the age of 14 Year Tula ram along with his young brother left village ida and choose to reside with his maternal uncle village nahru at kumoun which is situated at salt. At the historical fact it is believed that annu ji also left ida and choose to reside in village nigena.
