Maitre Cantave

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Maitre Reynolds Cantave (1945 - 2016), a renown lawyer in Port-au-Prince, Haiti passed away at age 69.

Reynolds, an ageless and fearless 69-year-old, was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in the baby boom era where he spent more than three decades fighting cases inside an ever-changing judicial system.

Reynolds' eloquence, elegance, and unique persona are one to never be forgotten. Born with a traditional Haitian name of Louis Marie Zephyrin Reynolds Cantave, he was the fourth and last child of aristocratic parents, Mr. Jean Baptiste (J.B.) and Mrs. Laura Cantave.

What was once known to be Haiti's prestigious epoch, the thoughts, and aspirations of Reynolds were formulated by his deeply rooted upbringing, life experiences, and passion for living in his native land. Wherever one would find Reynolds and whatever room he was standing in, he never failed to captivate an audience with his authentic fierce voice and speech.

By the age 18 years old, Reynolds was sent to Jamaica for one year, where he learned to speak English. He loved every moment of his unique experience in Jamaica in the early 60s, there he toured every corner of the island and grounded his love of expressive lyrical tunes of John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Bon Jovi, and instinctively Bob Marley to name a few. Soon after, Reynolds then spent a decade of his life where he lived and studied between Geneva, Switzerland, Brussels, Belgium, and Paris, France.
