Marc Atiyeh (Entrepreneur)

Marc Atiyeh is a financial entrepreneur, graduate of Harvard University, and is the current Chief Strategy Officer for Clarity Money,[1][2] which is a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. [3]

Early Life[edit]

Marc Atiyeh was born in Beirut, Lebanon where he attended Notre-Dame de Jamhour high school[4] before coming to the United States to study engineering and computer science at Harvard University.[5][6][7]

Career[edit]

After graduating Harvard, Atiyeh was hired as the Head of Growth at Paribus a mobile marketing company that tracks what consumers buy and shops around on their behalf to make sure they received the best deal.[8] Working in marketing allowed him to build on his education from Harvard and incorporate concepts like mobile marketing channels and the complexity of data to expand Paribus to over one million users before its acquisition by Capital One.[9][10]

Atiyeh would leave Paribus and join Adam Dell and together they developed a financial app[11] which brought together different services normally offered separately or by different financial institutions.[2] The app grew in popularity because not only did it allow consumers to consolidate their financial needs it also utilized artificial intelligence and data science to help clients save money. The app became the company Clarity Money which was acquired by Goldman Sachs.[12][13]
