Matt Kupec is a former quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks and the University of North Carolina Tarheels. Kupec had a pretty successful college career, engineering a victory over Florida in the 1979 Gator Bowl. Kupec was picked by the Seahawks as a free agent, going undrafted. Kupec did not succeed in the NFL and was let go by the Seahawks. After a mildly successful college career and failed pro football career, Kupec got a educational administration degree from Hofstra University. Kupec then took on a role as the vice chancellor of university advancement for UNC in 2003. Kupec remained in this role until he resigned in 2012 for charging personal trips to the university. Kupec now works as the Southern Illiniois Foundation CEO for Southern Illinois University.
