Matthias Von Fistenberg (born April 14, 1974) is a Polish film director, writer, producer, gay pornographic film actor[1], former classical music producer[2] and the co-founder, co-owner and vice president of Dark Alley Media and Raw Fuck Club, two gay pornographic studios based in the United States of America. [3][4][5][6]

His films explore sincere, intense sexual intercourse between men, and themes of transgression against cultural norms, such as religion, politics and various sexual fetishes mixed. During interview to Queerty magazine in 2007, Matthias stated: "as a porn director I am given the same tools as any other director so why should I not use them and express myself? Why should I pretend I don’t have my opinions, on politics, religion or on what’s sexy? My movies are made in a way that you can skip it all and go straight to sex. They have that utilitarian value, but if you watch them from start to finish they offer a view of the world as relevant as anybody else’s".[7]

Matthias is one of the responsible for introducing fisting fetish scenes into gay pornography and increasing its popularity. During his career, many movies were filmed where the practice was largely shown.[8] Dark Alley Media itself was claimed the "home of extreme fist fucking" by Matthias and his business partner, Owen Hawk, during interview to DNA Magazine, in 2008.[9]

Pseudonym[edit]

Matthias Von Fistenberg is a pseudonym: nom-de-porn homage to both Diane Von Fürstenberg[2], a Belgian-American fashion designer (who was married to the Prince Egon von Fürstenberg and got into the German princely House of Fürstenberg as his wife)[10] and the fisting fetish.

Von Fistenberg claims to be the "modern day Marquis de Sade"[11], in a clear reference to the French novelist known for his highly erotic toned books, mixing themes such as sexual fantasies, blasphemy, violence, philosophy and Christianity (the words sadism and sadist origin from Sade's name). During interview to Queerty magazine in 2007, Matthias declared: "I show you what is sexy. First you think its wrong because you are so programmed by society, but later, when no one is watching, you can’t deny it." [11]

Filmography[edit]

Matthias Von Fistenberg directed 87 adult movie titles, produced 221 titles and co-produced 89 gay pornographic titles with other several gay pornographic studios, such as BlackBreeders Production, Bone Raw, Forbidden Funk Media, Wurstfilm, Prime Pork Productions, Raw Nasty Fuckers, Raw Riders Studios and Halcyon Studios. In 2010, worked as a producer in L.A. Zombie, a movie by Canadian filmmaker Bruce LaBruce, starring French gay pornographic film actor François Sagat as the zombie.[12][13]
