Max Francis Aken-Tyers (born 5 July 1996) is an English footballer who plays as striker for Erie Commodores FC in the National Premier Soccer League.[1] Aken-Tyers previously played for Consett AFC[2] [3]and the University Of The Cumberlands.

Career[edit]

Aken-Tyers began his senior career with Northern League club Consett AFC. Aken-Tyers had previously represented Consett at youth level. Aken-Tyers also attended Consett Academy

In 2014 Aken-Tyers started his career in the USA as he was awarded a soccer scholarship with The University Of the Cumberlands Patriots. It was here he would become the Universities most ever played player, not missing a game in 4 years.[4]

In 2016 Aken-Tyers Played in all 20 games, starting 18 of them ... Tallied three goals, one assist, seven points, and 18 shots ... Eight of those shots being on goal ... Aken-Tyers three goals were tied for first in goals scored on the team.

In 2018 Played in 18 games and started 16 of them … Recorded two goals and two assists … Netted goals in wins over Brescia and Asbury.[5]

In 2016 he first signed for the Erie Commodores FC of the National Premier Soccer League

In 2017 he resigned for Erie[6] and they won the Midwest East conference for the first time as the Commodores

In 2018 he resigned for Erie[7] and they won the conference again back to back.

Aken Tyers was also a part of the Commodores first ever US Open Cup run[8]
