Meg n Paige is a multi-talented entertainment duo made up by Canadian-born entertainers, Megan Soo and Paige Frappier. Megan Soo and Paige Frappier created YouTube.[1] videos on June 30th, 2017 for their YouTube channel "Meg n Paige." As of 2018, the duo expanded their content to comedy sketches, travel videos, dancing, and modelling on YouTube and Instagram.[2] They are notable for their YouTube series, The Meg and Paige Show (September 2018) and IGTV[3]series, Life Hacks with Meg n Paige (July 24th, 2018). The duo has created their own reality show titled, Simply Meg n Paige (September 2018). Megan Soo and Paige Frappier are on a variety of social media platforms such as: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok[4], and Facebook[5]

Career[edit]

Best friends, Megan Soo and Paige Frappier, formed their entertainment duo Meg n Paige as a means to combine their talents into entertainment for their followers on their social media platforms. This like-minded duo are entertainment and content creators, focusing primarily on their YouTube channel. Meg n Paige hosts content such as daily vlogs[6], brand reviews, and travel videos. Alongside casual internet videos, Soo and Frappier also focus on interviewing other internet personalities, actors, artists, and public figures. As well, Soo and Frappier interview locals around their residences in Toronto, Ontario[7] and Los Angeles, California[8]. Both girls have found interest in uploading funny YouTube or Instagram challenges[9], and use their social media platforms as a comedic outlet for sketch comedy[10] and memes[11] that are relatable to youth and young females (September 2017). In June 2018, Soo and Frappier started making Musical.ly[12] videos (now merged into TikTok, a social media platform). In August 2018, Soo and Frappier became the creators of Cre8 (pronounced: cre.ate) which is their crew and behind-the-scenes team. Soo and Frappier became the CEOs[13] for their social media marketing company called Cre8 Social Boost. In September 2018, Soo and Frappier created their reality show, Simply Meg n Paige. Artistic duo Meg n Paige released their first vocal single "Daydreaming" in September 2018.

Early Life as Meg n Paige[edit]

Megan Soo (born August 12th, 1995, in Scarborough, Ontario[14]) and Paige Frappier (born August 11th, 1998, in St. Thomas, Ontario[15]) met as minor-role actresses on the set of Canadian TV-show, Private Eyes[16], in November 2016. Both girls lost contact with each other, until meeting again while auditioning for Canadian TV-show The Next Step[17] in April 2017. Soo, then, hired Paige as a dancer for her company M Prestige Entertainment, a life performance dance company. Both danced together for weddings and corporate events.

Personal Life as Meg n Paige[edit]

Both Soo and Frappier live together between Toronto, Ontario and Los Angeles, California. The duo loves to travel and do road-trips from Toronto to Los Angeles. Soo and Frappier are animal lovers, and both own a Pomeranian[18] and Gorden Setter[19]. Both their birthdays are back-to-back (August 11th and August 12th), making Soo and Frappier Leos[20]. Megan Soo and Paige Frappier became the CEOs of M Prestige Entertainment and the CEOs of Cre8 Social Boost.

Individual: Megan Soo[edit]

Megan Soo is a Canadian actress, artist, model, and internet personality. Started at an early age as an actress, dancer, and gymnast (4-years-old). Soo competed competitively in gymnastics, until 12-years-old due to an injury. Soo was trained as a professional dancer in Pickering, Ontario[21] and danced throughout high-school. Soo enrolled in dance and drama courses in high-school, furthering her training and abilities as a professional dancer and actress. Soo auditioned for admittance into York University[22], but was declined an offer of admission. During this time, she decided to take a year off to dance with a professional dance company called Diva Diverse. With this company, Soo danced around Ontario[23], New York City[24], and Miami[25]. After taking a year off Soo decided to become an entrepreneur and started a partnership of a live entertainment company. Once the partnership fell through she decided to go solo and continue the company and renamed it M Prestige Entertainment. She then hired and managed dancers to perform with her. But still decided to go back to school to further her education and skills as an entertainer. Soo went to post-secondary school for Fitness and Health at George Brown College[26] in Toronto. After graduating, Soo went for her CSEP CPT Certification with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology and worked at multiple gyms and clinics as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. During this time, Soo fell in-love again with acting and modelling upon graduating, and decided to pursue a serious acting and entertainment career. Soo attended George Brown College in January 2017 for Screenwriting and Film Production. Her debut film appearance was in xXx: Return of Xander Cage[27] in 2017. Megan Soo then got an agent and began acting in The Eidolon as Meaghan Connors (2018), got a Principal Role in I’ll Take Your Dead (2018), a Principal Role in The Machine (2017), and a Principal Role in Mary Kills People (2017). Megan Soo hosted and interviewed attendees at the Action on Film International Festival[28] in 2018 and in 2017. Soo competed in two beauty pageants in 2017: Miss Asia Canada and Miss Supertalent[29]in Korea[30]. Soo placed 1st Runner Up in Miss Asia Canada and was crowned Miss Trinidad and Tobago[31] for Miss Supertalent. After competing in pageants, Soo fell in-love with singing and vocal training. She is still the CEO of M Prestige Entertainment but brought on Frappier to assist her. Both Frappier and Soo still professionally dance when time allows. As of mid-late 2018, Soo and Frappier became founders and CEOs of Cre8 Social Boost while taking time to still screen-write, produce, act, model, and dance. Soo has goals of having her own TV-show that she stars in.

Individual: Paige Frappier[edit]

Paige Frappier is a Canadian dancer, choreographer, and internet personality. Frappier begun dancing professionally at 3-years-old. For years, Frappier competed in dance representing many Canadian dance studios such as, Studio Dance Pointe, Dance Essence, and Step Above. When she was 16-years-old, Frappier trained as a professional dancer in New York City at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater[32]. Frappier transferred to an arts high-school for her graduating year (studied dance and acting) and independently moved to Toronto on her own to pursue her dance career at 18-years-old. As a professional dancer, Frappier has completed her RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Exams up to Advanced 1. Frappier taught at Dance Essence (London, Ontario[33]), as well as ONE Hip Hop Studios. Frappier created and taught her own dance workshop at ONE Hip Hop Studios in June 2017. She has created and choreographed 3 of her own dance concept videos. Frappier has trained all over Los Angeles, (Millennium Dance Complex, Movement Lifestyle, Debbie Reynolds), NYC (Broadway Dance Centre, Alvin Ailey), and Toronto (The Underground and Right Foot). Notable choreographers Frappier has trained under include: Ray Mercer, Dana Folgia, Matt Steffanina, Kyle Hanagami, and etc. Frappier was featured in Ray Mercers' piece in NYC Summer Sizzler Show. CEO of M Prestige Entertainment alongside Megan Soo and CEO and creator of Cre8 Social Boost media marketing.
