Mhairi Threlfall is the Bristol City Councillor for Eastville [1] and Enterprise Development Manager at the University of the West of England, Bristol.[2]

She won her first election in 2013 by one vote,[3][4] after a leaflet published by the Bristol Liberal Democrats highlighted that she was originally from Scotland.[5]

In June 2014, she became a Cabinet Advisor [6] for Place, supporting Assistant Mayor Mark Bradshaw.

In 2016, she was re-elected by 1991 votes with a majority of 1266, and 27.7% of the vote.[7]

Threlfall stood as the Labour candidate for the Kingswood constituency in the 2017 general election.[8]

In July 2017, she was appointed as Cabinet Member for Transport and Connectivity for Bristol City Council.
