Michigan 2018 Connectathon

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Introduction[edit]

Michigan Health Information Network (MiHIN) is holding a Connectathon this upcoming June 4th and 5th in Lansing, Michigan prior to our annual Connecting Michigan for Health conference. Developers at healthcare organizations across the country will soon be required to know Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®). Take advantage of this free opportunity to get hands-on experience and learn, develop, and test the exchange of healthcare information using MiHIN’s FHIR Pilot Interoperability Testbed (FHIR-PIT).

Why attend Michigan FHIR Connectathon?

  • Access a safe FHIR playground, MiHIN’s FHIR Pilot Interoperability Testbed (FHIR-PIT), and test synthetic healthcare information including patient, provider, organization, and encounter data
  • Leverage Ring of FHIR® - network of FHIR®-PITs with centralized “FHIR Station” that enables interoperability between organizations
  • Network with other software developers and experts in the field responsible for interoperability
