[1]MIRUD(October 17,1994) is a popular singer and songwriter who rose to fame doing cover on Youtube. After being discovered by Arthur Pingrey Who was also nominated three times for the oscars. Arthur and MIRUD worked on a song called "Puzzle"[2] which reached at number 43 in the UNITED STATES. After the success with his first sinlge MIRUD published [3]"Ti Me Harro" a song in Albanian. The song reached at number 15 in Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo. In early 2018 MIRUD released In January 2018 MIRUD released [4]"Ende Te Dua" a song produced by Mason Levy who also produced [5]"Sorry" by [6]Justin Bieber in combination with Florent Boshnjaku an Albanian producer. The song was published for the first time in [7]The Voice Of America News(VOA) in January 2018. The song was written by MIRUD and [8]Elhaida Dani. To this day the song remains as one of the most popular songs of the year in Albania and Kosovoand 4 months after it's release MIRUD became one of the few singers to have two songs in top 100 in the largest charts in Albania in TOP CHANNEL(Top Awards). In March 2018 MIRUD did a version of the song "Tu y YO"[9] performed by [10]Maite Perroni in Albanian called "Ti Dhe Une"[11]. The song was written by MIRUD and [12]Maite Perroni. The Music Video for the song was released in March through Warner Music Group Mexico. In 2017 MIRUD and Elhaida Dani annouced that they are working on an international duet with Universal Music Group for a song called [13]"RUBY" the song is expected to be released later this year. In May 2018 MIRUD[14] released his first EP. The same week MIRUD[15] was on the cover of Spotify for New Discovered Artists. Currently MIRUD[16] is working on his new album which is set to be released later this year. In June MIRUD[17] announced that he is coming out with a new single called "Sonte"(Tonight) which is expected to be released in July 2018.
Early Life[edit]
MIRUD was born in Prizren which is the second largest city in Kosovo in 1994. Durnig the war in 1999 MIRUD and his family were forced to leave the country. During that time MIRUD and his family moved to Albania where MIRUD started listening to the music of the iconic singers like Nexhmije Pagarusha. After coming back to the country MIRUD became very interested in Opera Singing which led him to enter "Lorenc Antoni" Music School for Piano. After finishing primary school MIRUD applied to "LORENC ANTONI HIGHT SCHOOL OF MUSIC" for Opera Singing and he was one of the 7 students to pass the auditions. After finishing school MIRUD wanted a larger career in music and he decided to move to United States where he started doing a lot of covers and gaining fame in Youtube and Social Media.
