Plot[edit]

It is a dark comedy set in the backdrop of Hyderabad where the city is a part of narrative. Sai is a techie in his mid-twenties but unlike a typical brainy computer geek, he is just hanging out to his job. His only achievement - not to lose his job but even that too will be short lived! While professionally he is struggling to keep afloat, his personal life is also in complete disarray.

Everything around him establishes mess in his life – whether it’s his vintage Premier 118 NE car working only with some jugaad or his phone audible only on speaker mode or his friend Jani, who is happy in his own world sleeping and loafing around whole day with only objective of drinking in the evening.

Sai gets fired but his misery doesn’t end there. He is getting married in three days but he has no remorse and he is daydreaming of Steve Jobs. His only reaction to such situation – drain out all problems through alcohol. And, his only companion is Jani – a jobless alcoholic. They both get drunk and Sai somehow manages to drive back home but crashes outside his house leaving the door open.

Next morning he is shocked to find theft in the house. While he seeks help from police, he receives flak from cops who scold him for being irresponsible and show no interest in solving the case. Sai & Jani again gang up in bar along with few other friends on the invite of a NRI friend, Krishna who is visiting the town. Taking potshot at Sai, Krishna rebukes him for being a loser. Upon realizing the recent development in Sai’s life; Krishna challenges him to prove himself by nabbing the thief and then only get married, in the heat of the moment, he ends up accepting the challenge.

Sai and Jani must find the thief in three days to get married on time, their journey will begin with Dude whom they assumed be thief becoming part of it. When dude also fails he takes them to his detective friend Deepti, a serious method actor, she is trapped in the role of detective and has become full time detective. A crazy female with super crazy stuff around, who herself has taken a vow that she won't get married until she solves her first case. She got few cases but in all those cases clients backed out…will she solve the case, will they find the thief together and will Sai get married ?In the race against time these crazy characters are on madcap adventure.

Dude ends the film on a philosophical note. Life is complex but too short to be tensed about. There is no point in chasing things beyond our control and we cannot hold on to something in life! Using car as a metaphor, it tries to draw this point as the car finally gets ‘liberated’.
