Mont Chocolat is a mountain in Saint-Philémon, in the Les Etchemins Regional County Municipality, in administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches, in Quebec, in Canada.

Geography[edit]

Located in the Notre Dame Mountains south of the St. Lawrence River, Mont Chocolat has an altitude of 717 metres (2,352 ft) and is part of the Massif du Sud. It is also part of the Massif-du-Sud Regional Park. Mont Chocolat is located at 5.5 kilometres (3.4 mi) at the east of the center of agglomeration Notre-Dame-Auxiliatrice-de-Buckland.[1]

Toponym[edit]

The name "Mont Chocolat" was made official on March 16, 2004 at the Place name bank of the Commission de toponymie du Québec.[1]
